Lockerz

So earlier i was talking about a site that gives away stuff for free well i found a new site called lockerz which i like better than swagbucks but it has a very huge problem which won't make me fully leave swagbucks until they fix it so lets start from the begining. Lockerz is a site targeted for teenager and young adults. Supposedly they reward you with points (which is there online currency) for logging in for the day and answering daily questions, they also give you this one time only game in the begin for you to have your starter points. Now in that game you catch as many little green boxes on the board that your mouse controls by moving side to side now the only catch is you have to catch them in approximately 5 secs. Now the point that you earn can be used to purchase whatever prize you like in there online store. There prizes range from video games, to console, apple, dell and hp laptops, a 40 inch tv flat screen (i think its a samsung) they also have ipod touch's, ipod nanos, headsets, the wii system (wii sport and fit to go with it) xbox 360, skins for you ipods, and i think the lowest to redem is 5 point and the highest is 5000 points (which is for the tv). They also have concert tickets to major artist, donation to charity which is converted to dollars for kids in need or after a natural disaster like katrina victims so i really like that about them but there prize still need to be instock so that we can get what we want instead of being out of stock. Oh yea and they also got $500 amazon gift card but its in UK currency. I'm not sure if you can use it in the US but thats still good. Now ive been with them for like a month and im trying to get 20 ppl on there so i can join there Z list which is like VIP.


Being on the Z list you get first dibs on things before anyone else and that good because there prizes max out as soon as they restock which suck so if your on that you will always know when they are in stock or when there going to restocking there shelves so that you won't be left in the dust; but anyways when you join they give you a free t shirt saying that you made the list. Now before i told you guys about swagbucks and that it takes awhile before you can redeem anything major because there prizes are a little higher in cost well thats the opposite of lockerz and also with swagbucks there prizes are always in stock but lockerz its the opposite it never in stock because everyone gets to them fast. So basically thats why I like them for there points being easy to earn. and also prize system is cheaper to redeem there prizes (when in stock) and their prizes are more interesting then swagbucks. For example im at 118points and i could get a new game for 100 points for any console or i can wait till i get to 200 and get a psp or the wii system (excluding the wii fit and sport package) for 250. So like said join it's free and they dont spam you and you can earn free stuff by barely doing anything for it or you can earn money buy selling the stuff you redeem on ebay so thats you can make profit if that doesn't influence you then something is wrong with you. Plus when for add 20 people your points double from 2 a day to 4 a day and on top of that if you did the dailies (which are basic question they give you to answer you get 2 point) they'll double that to 4 so you'll earn 8 a day instead of 4 and if you add more people after that you get 4 points per person instead of 2. I also read that by 2010 they are going to have more ways to earn more points in a day. Swagbucks

So i found a site called swagbucks which is a search engine website powered by google . You use it to search up information that you would normally do for google but unlike google swagbucks reward you with bucks for certain keywords or phrases and if you invite someone you earn bucks while there searching. For example if your not home to search up anything at the moment but they are using it you will earn also. Now i like that but it does have it downside where as you can search up things for the entire day and you wont get anything or you might just get one buck for the day which suck because there prizes system is high in bucks so it would take you longer to try and get the prize you want from there store. If your wondering what the bucks are there actually fake money that you use to purchase whatever you want from there store. Where as one swagbuck equal one USA dollar so basically that there currency in internet world which you can use to redeem for like anything like video game console out there on the market or other electronics, giftcards, clothing but nothing name brand.
Know there lowest prize in there store is screensavers for like a bucks and they have the compete wii system that comes with the wii fit and sport package for like 7495 bucks so as you can see it will take time to get there unless you know someone that lives on the computer or you have many friends out there that will search and help you get there faster or if you want you can do daily activities that the site post and they'll reward in bucks. They also have a golden ticket if you find it i think you get about 500 bucks which is a good start they also have a section on there website that you can submit things that you dont want like an old cellphone or a video game or the system it self and they will reward you with what they think is fair so there's like different ways to earn bucks other than searching so if you have none of things listed above then you have to do the plain old search and hope you get something. Now as much as they try to make the site nice and entertaining i still think they need to work on something a little more simplier for the beginnner who is new to using a computer or new to the site so they can fully understand whats going on and how to enter into certains but as for right now im trying to see if i can get me a few things from there. Who doesn't likes free stuff right. Overdraft Fees

The topic for today is Overdraft fees. Who doesn't hate those fees. Everybody claims they have overdraft protection that you can add to your account but when you add it its like it doesn't do anything for you. What's the difference of having it or not you still being charge the same amount. So according to wikipedia overdraft is when withdrawals from a bank account exceed the available balance which gives the account a negative balance. Now through personal experience i have dealt with charges like this and they are very cruel. The reason why i say this is because even by a fricking penny or nickel your still being charge the full overdraft fee. Now when you call the bank they tell you that you should track your account by writing down every time you used your card but let's be real who always write down every single transaction. We all get distracted and forget to put it down on paper.

Next is the idea of an online account that you can see how much you have and what's being taken out but its never accurate like what's the point. Then on top of that they have you choose if you want overdraft protection on your account depending on some banks they might make you choose to open a credit with them that you can use to put towards purchases made with out over drafting your account but who wants to owe money to the bank that just adding more negative to your name because it isn't your money being spent. Why can't they just leave the account to what you have in there and not approve what you don't have in the bank. I think if they did that more people would be willing to stick with their bank and not switch or close their account but i guess that how they make money but it isn't fair to other people out there who expect them to be on top off things by posting up what really available in your account but hey that why most people don't have bank account because of hidden fees or ridiculous one's you save more when you keep your money in your pocket and not trust other people with it. Well that's my opinion on that let me know what you think. Is it best to trust the bank with your money or is it safer in your pockets?
